| The HeTof — the Dutch Home Education Festival — aims to bring together people from different countries with an interest in home ed. During this three-day event, they can meet like-minded individuals and share their experiences. The HeTof is open to all home education settings, all religions and life philosophies.
The Festival was initiated by Sonja van Driel. She is assisted by Marjo Crins, Sonja’s husband Rob van Niekerk and her daughter Zjoske. Additional support comes from numerous volunteers hailing from a variety of countries, all of whom organise workshops and give talks.
Sonja first organised the HeTof in 2008. The Festival was repeated by popular demand in 2009 and we hope it will become an annual event.
The HeTof is not associated with any home education or other educational organisation and is organised entirely by volunteers. All registration fees pay only for the HeTof. None of the money goes to the organisers.
Liability
The HeTof organisers accept no liability for any damage or injury caused directly or indirectly as a result of a stay at the festival and/or campgrounds or resulting from the use of materials made available to the festival-goers.
